This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you use RAKETO (the “Application” or “App”), a mobile and web application for tennis, padel and squash players, operated by Raketo Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Information We Collect

When you use our App, we may collect the following information about you:

• Personal Identification Information: name, email address, phone number, profile photo and other contact details.
• Player Profile and Activity: your city, sports, level, match requests, match results, ratings, tournaments and trainings you take part in.
• Usage Data: information on how you use the App, including your interaction with its features.
• Device Information: information about the device you use to access the App, including model, operating system, unique device identifiers, push notification tokens and mobile network information.
• User Content: photos and other materials you upload, such as match photos.

Signing In with Google and Other Providers

You can sign in to Raketo with your phone number, email and password, Apple account or Google account.

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares with us only your name, email address and profile picture (the basic “openid”, “email” and “profile” permissions). We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google services.

We use this Google user data only to create your Raketo account, sign you in, and display your name and photo on your player profile. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed below that host the App on our behalf. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our App, including matching you with other players in your city.
• Show your player profile, match results and rating to other users of the App.
• Communicate with you, including providing customer support and sending notifications about your matches and updates about the App.
• Process subscriptions and payments.
• Conduct research and analysis to enhance the functionality and user experience of our App.
• Comply with our legal obligations.

Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with third parties in the following situations:

• Service Providers: we use service providers who perform services for us and help us operate the App, such as Google Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, database, file storage, push notifications and hosting), and payment providers (Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, RevenueCat, lava.top) that process subscription payments. We do not receive your full payment card details.
• Other Players: your name, photo, city, rating, match requests and match results are visible to other users of the App, as this is the core purpose of the App.
• Compliance and Harm Prevention: as required by law or when we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
• Business Transfers: in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.

We do not sell your personal information.

Photos and AI Processing

Match photos you upload are stored on our servers and shown in the App and in Raketo communities on Telegram, WhatsApp and other services.

To create modified versions of match photos (for example, when the same photo is repeated in several matches), we may send the photo to the Gemini API, an artificial intelligence service operated by Google LLC, which processes it on our behalf. When you publish a match with a repeated photo, the App asks for your permission first.

Images created this way are marked as AI-generated (“Raketo AI”). Raketo does not use your photos to train artificial intelligence models. You can ask us to delete a generated image at hello@raketo.app.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the App: Settings → Delete account, or by writing to hello@raketo.app. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information, including data received from Google. Results of matches you played may remain in other players’ match history without your personal details. Some copies may remain in backups for a limited time.

Your Choices

You have choices regarding the personal information you provide to us and how we communicate with you:

• Notifications: you can turn off push notifications in the App settings or in your device settings.
• Opt-Out of Communications: you can opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe link in the communication.
• Modify Your Information: you can change your profile in the App, and you may request to review, change, or delete your personal information collected by us.
• Google Account access: you can remove Raketo’s access to your Google Account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access to our database is restricted by security rules.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Minors may use the App only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
